Increasing My Zeal for the Triune God
by Mike Robinson
Matthew 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations,
baptizing them in the name of the
Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit…
God the Father raised
Jesus from the dead
Galatians 1:1 Paul, an apostle, not of men, neither by man,
but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead.
The Holy Spirit
raised Jesus
Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of
him who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he that raised up Christ
from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies …
The Son raised
himself
John 2:19 ... [Jesus said] Destroy this temple and I will
raise it up…. 21 he was speaking of the temple of his body.
The Father is God
Phil.1:2 Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father,
and from the Lord.
The Son is God
Isaiah 9:6 … a Son will be given and He shall be called …
Mighty God…
The Holy Spirit is
God
Act 5:3 Peter said “Ananias why has Satan filled your heart
to lie to the Holy Spirit-You have not lied to men but to God.”
There is only One God
Deu. 6:4 Hear O Israel the Lord thy God, the Lord is One.
All three, the
Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, were responsible for creation
The Father was involved in the creation (Eph. 3:14, Mal.
2:10).
The Son was involved in the creation (John 1:3, Heb. 1:2
Col. 1:16 ) All things were made through him.
The Holy Spirit was involved in the creation (Ps. 104:30) Job
26:13 By his spirit he made the heavens (Job 33:4).
Mathew 3:16 When He had been
baptized, Jesus came up immediately
from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove
and alighting upon Him. 17 And suddenly a
voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well
pleased.”
Daniel 11:32 … the people who
know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.
Hebrews 12:26 whose voice then
shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not
only the earth, but also heaven.” … 28 Therefore, since we are receiving a
kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace… 29 For our God is a
consuming fire.
1 Peter 2:12 …they may, by your good works which they
observe, glorify God in the day of visitation.
